GTFileExplorer will have the functionality of a usual FileExplorer. You will be able to copy or move the files or directories to other directories and also delete them. You can browse through the directories by selecting them in the directory tree.
You can also open files with an external program by using the popupmenu or by doubleclick. You can define for each filetype a standard program to open with.
The main functionality is the synchronization of directories, because this is what the FileExplorer of Windows don't has and i was not very happy with overwriting all the existing files every time when i will synchronize my laptop with my external harddrive.
